Chevron's Captain FPSO gets two HB Rentals' living units

ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND: Offshore accommodation company HB Rentals has delivered two specially-adapted living quarters to Chevron in a two-year deal worth GBP 750,000 (US$1.22 million).

The pair of four-man units, which are each 32 feet (9.8 m) by 11 feet (3.4 m), are now in use aboard Chevron's Captain FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading vessel). The production vessel is working on the Captain field in Block 13/22a in the UK sector of the North Sea.

Both accommodation units were custom-modified for deployment in a Zone 1 hazardous area offshore. All of HB Rentals' cabins meet DNV, IMO and SOLAS standards for safety regulations.
