Colm Kane – Operations Director for Oliver Valves, Oliver Twinsafe and Oliver Valvetek
Colm Kane joined the Oliver family of companies in 2004 from a rail transport company where he had served as the Sourcing Manager.
Colm was initially the Supply Manager for Oliver Valves but he soon proved himself and the role was expanded to take in all three companies.
In 2006 Colm was appointed General Manager for Oliver Valves, Oliver Twinsafe and Oliver Valvetek, project managing the refurbishment of the Oliver Twinsafe and Oliver Valves buildings which opened in October 2006 and March 2008 respectively.
Most recently, and certainly, for Colm, most significantly, in July 2009 Colm was appointed Operations Director. His latest role means that Colm is responsible for two key areas; providing cost and delivery information into the quotation phase and processing the customer purchase order through to final delivery of the product and documentation as well as providing after sales service.
Colm is a post graduate in Industrial & Operations Management with the Institute of Management.
