As oil and gas becomes more difficult to extract from high pressure ultra-deep oceans and high temperature wells, we appreciate that the continuous reliability of our product is of the utmost importance.
Always striving for perfection, we constantly utilise the latest available technologies including computer aided design and 3D modelling packages, FEA and FMECA to push technological boundaries.
Our excellent reputation has been built on our attention to detail, our highly efficient and lean operation, and the extensive array of in-house testing facilities that we offer, all of which have been designed to provide you the customer with significant confidence that our highly innovative products will perform subsea without compromise throughout the design life of your project.
We have full Research and Development facilities in-house and our valves are subject to full PR2 temperature and hyperbaric testing to simulate the valve life cycle performance at an equivalent of up to 10,000 feet water depth.
To aid reliability yet further our product valve components are all subjected to ultrasonic cleaning which improves the pre-assembly and as-built cleanliness of the product and minimises any potential contamination risk.
We also have a filtered positive pressure ventilated clean room within our facilities, which is extensively used for gate valve actuator and valve assembly.
Valve components are subjected to full hardness testing to ASTM E10 and E18, and all valves are subjected to full factory acceptance testing (hydrostatic and pneumatic) and flushed to SAE AS4059 Class 6-BF (ISO 4406) as a minimum prior to despatch.
Oliver Valvetek understands the criticality of documentation and we are fully conversant in providing tailored documentation packages, many of which are project specific. Document packages can be supplied to your exact requirements with Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, fully component material traceability and Manufacturing Record Books.
Specific general arrangement, cross sectional and parts lists, Independent Review Certificates (IRC), hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure test certificates, heat treatment certificates, certificates of conformity, material certificates, hardness reports, weld procedure specifications and weld procedure qualification records and welder operator qualifications.
Oliver are also at the leading edge of materials technology and perform full mechanical and chemical analysis including charpy impact testing and metallurgical examination (where required by the customer). Extensive NDE processes are also conducted by our operatives to ASNT Level II and PCN Level II and include Liquid Dyepenetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Positive Material Identification.
Our extensive material experience allows us to coordinate the requirements of our customers so that we are able to utilise dedicated basket material suppliers, which in turn reduces material lead time, whilst maintaining a consistently high specification level which meets or exceeds customer requirements.
