Oliver Valves manufactures a variety of Instrument Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valves for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries. Our Instrument Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valves feature either Needle or Ball Valves depending on our customers requirements, and are suitable up to 6,000 PSI. All of our Instrument Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valves are machined from a barstock body, and are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200C, with an added extra taking this up to 240C on customer request.Enquire Now
Our Instrument Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valves are suitable for pressures up to 6,000 PSI, with a standard maximum temperature rating of 240 C. However, our IN type Instrument Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valves are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 540 C as an additional option.
IN Type - Maximum Pressure 6,000psi (10,000psi available as an option). Maximum Temperature 240C (540C available as an option). Comes with PTFE Seals and contains a Metal to metal seated needle valve. Heavy duty Firesafe versions are available.
ID Type - Maximum Pressure 6,000psi (10,000psi available as an option). Maximum Temperature 200C (240C available as an option). Comes with a Metal to metal seated needle valve and Soft seated ball valve. Ideal for double block and bleed for an instrument.
L Type - Maximum Pressure 6000psi, Maximum Temperature 200C and contains a soft seated ball valve. Ball valve bore size 10mm, 14mm and 20mm. Ideal for injection, sampling and double block and bleed for an instrument.
T Type - Maximum Pressure 6000psi, Maximum Temperature 200C and contains a soft seated ball valve. Ball valve bore size 10mm & 14mm. Ideal for compact injection, sampling and double block and bleed for an instrument.
3D Models are available upon request.
Question: Is there a possibility that I could get 3D models of certain valves that you produce? My company is using AutoDesk Inventor to construct better visual representations of our jobs. We use your products on a regular basis in our applications; so we feel that it would be better to show our customers actual representation of all the parts in our assemblies. So, again would you be able to produce STP files of certain Valves? (name removed by OVL Admin)
Answer: Thank you for your interest in the 3D models of our valves. Currently, only OliverValveTek and OliverTwinsafe have 3D capabilities. Additionally, there are only certain valves which have a 3D model, though this number is increasing frequently. If you would like a 3D model of a ValveTek or Twinsafe product, please e-mail which valves you are interested in to firstname.lastname@example.org and we shall see if one is available.
Question: Can we get these with integral compression fittings or do you do somthing simmilar ?
Answer: We can provide integral compression fittings on the inlet and outet end connections of the ID type double block and bleed valve. With respect to the vent we can provide an NPT compression fitting fitted to the port.
Question: What materials is the valve available in?
Answer: An 'IN' type valve can be manufactured in many materials including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex and Nickle Alloys. If there is a specific material you require feel free to contact email@example.com and they can look at the availability of that material or contact us on +44 (0) 1565 632 636 for further information.
Question: Can your IN Type Barstock DBB Valve Pipe to Pipe be used in a subsea environment?
Answer: The IN Type DBB can survive certain subsea conditions. Please contact Oliver Valves sales team with your specific requirements for conformation.
Question: I was recently quoted a "DBB/IN/S/75MSW-3EXT/50F-PP/50F/FS/NA" valve. I have been unable to determine what the "3EXT" in this valve code means - This is not listed in your ordering data sheet?
Answer: The "3EXT" stands for an additional 3" Extension length on the end connector. This is normally used to move the soft internal materials away from the weld area of the connector to prevent damage caused by heat transfer during welding.
