We take our social responsibilities as global citizens seriously, and supporting charities that provide essential help to those living in some of the most deprived places on the planet is a key part of our ethos. One such organisation is the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Southern Malawi. Oliver Valves is a long-term donor to the hospital, and has recently agreed to funding to employ four full-time maternity nurses at the facility, which deliver over 10,000 babies every year. Another principle close to the heart of our approach to business is helping talented young employees to develop their skills. That’s why we provide an annual bursary to the Starhe Centre in Kenya - an organisation that provides a free, first-class education for exceptional students.
