20 Years With Oliver Valvetek Has Literally Flown for Mike Garner.

I have had a great twenty years and having been involved in most aspect of the Oliver Valves business from simply polishing valve seats, to setting up UK and overseas supply chains it has flown by without any dull moments.

If you are enthusiastic and eager to learn, this is the place to be. I arrived here after many years in a machine shop environment, which is limited, but very soon found myself in design meetings, discussing ideas with our Engineering Team, then working with our Quality team working out issues with customers. Then supporting sales with winning projects and managing the projects through the supply chain and meeting some great Engineers along the way.

One of my best moments was Mike Oliver asking if he could join me on a supplier visit where we had a major issue, “I’ll drive us down Mike” but he insisted on making the travel arrangements, I ended up flying with him on a private Jet, talk about doing it in style, it could only happen here.

So like I said “never a dull moment”.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their help and support over the years, and will looking forward to the rest of my time here.
